BIN stands for Binary, a type of file containing pure binary data.
The BIN file extension represents the binary installer format for Ubuntu Linux. In Windows, this file extension represents the format for binary data files, but not installers. Unfortunately,
if you try to install a BIN file in Windows, you might find it impossible. Through Ubuntu Linux, however, you can install a BIN file using the command terminal that comes with the operating system. Before you install the BIN file, you have to turn it into an application using a simple command.
