Installing WGIC on each of the client computers requires the executable file be copied over to the designated clients (typically through network sharing). The file that needs to be run on each client computer is typically named wgsetup.exe.
The file will not fit on a floppy disk, however creating a CD copy of this file to transfer to a client is permitted.
If you are prompted during the installation, please select 'client' when installing on a client computer. Once installation is complete, you may be prompted to reboot the computer.
Note: If you are planning on installing WGIC on your client computers using Windows 95 you must have the updated Microsoft Winsock 2 application installed. This is an operating system upgrade offered by Microsoft, and is not included with Windows 95. If you have troubles upgrading the operating system or questions regarding Winsock 2, please contact Microsoft at the following URL:
