I did improve my English greatly via this kind of program. THough my English was pretty good before it, too, but you know, I've got a lot of converstaional English skills having spent 4 months in the US. A lot of slang and curse words, too
Two of my friends went ot the US this summer via some program that was advertised at ASEM. I can't find the info right now, but I promise to look for it and help you. Anyhow, you'll have to start applying some time in October or later.
By the way, are you a student?

It is still workingin Chisinau, but they are not dealing with this kind of programs anymore, as most of the students that went to the US never actually came back =(
