OK. The new subject of the day: What books do you read, do you like, did you recently read. I mean Literature and not manuals etc.

For example I like Science fiction, and fantasy. Also I like detectives, and everything related to psychology. A pity I don't have lots of free time, so I read my last book about 3 months ago. It was Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. That's a great book, and I recommend reading it to everyone!!! I've got it both in English and russian

Nice subject..

I like many genres, earlier I was addicted to science - fiction and fantasy, but now I am a bit serious and started reading philosophy, I even wanted me admitted in the phaculty of philosophy, but I changed my mind. I recommend everyone to read Schoppenhauer if you want some help in answering questions of existence, just now I'm reading Spinoza in the morning and Sartre in the evening..

Do yo think thar reading Science fiction isn't serious??? I am not agree (I know it's not right to say that, but that's already a kind of joke in our class. I wonder why so many people say like that )
There's a great old russian book called "Чёрный Человек" by Василий Головачёв. Now that's something outstanding. At that time already he could expose such ideas. Is short it's about the commender of an intergalactic ship, that crashed into another one, ALIEN's one. It's not about the fight of them. He shows aliens from the good part. So survive and save the alien he had to connect himself to the aliens ship, so his own consciousness was interlaced with the aliens. In the book the writer shows how the commander started changing, thinking. It has lots of psychological moments too. Although I read it about 4 years ago, I still remember it, and I think I sould reread it again sometimes...
